Comenius letter 8th grade November/December

  Dear friends,
We have been anxiously waiting the winter holiday!
Our last two months passed thinking of winter days. It started to snow a few days ago, but we are already enjoying ourselves playing outside.
November and December were very busy because we had to study for our semestrial Math, Geography or History and Romanian exams. We have already had our exams which were difficult, especially the Math one and we also had other tests.
On the 1st of December we celebrated the National Day of Romania and on this occasion we made a History project and we sang songs with the school chorus.
Last week we went to our county library where we watched a movie called “Morning around the World’’. In this movie was presented one life day of a child from United States of America, Senegal, Cambodia and Finland. After we saw the movie, we realized that we should be very grateful for what we have because other kids like those from Senegal and Cambodia have much less than us.
During the winter holiday most of us will go to our grandparents and we all want to enjoy the snow by skiing, snowboarding and ice skating. We can’t wait for Christmas because it’s our favorite holiday.
We hope that you will enjoy Winter as much as we are and we wish you MERRY CHRISTMAS and we hope that you will get many presents. A HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
Christine, our colleague  on the left, is going to Finland and she’ll embrace you for us!
   Best wishes,
    Your 8thA grade friends from
Romania.
